Data SGP and SGP Data Sets

Managing data as an enterprise asset is about more than collection and storage, it’s about ensuring that it’s leveraged securely, efficiently and cost-effectively before it’s disposed of. Ultimately, this means providing users across the organization with the data they need to reach customers, design better products and services, and seize opportunities that would otherwise be missed. The Google Data Platform helps you meet this challenge with a full suite of tools that includes a fully-managed data discovery service, a metadata management tool and a fully managed data class-level control.

SGP provides an effective performance measure of student progress by identifying students that are likely to need additional support in order to meet their achievement goals, as well as those who are on track to be successful. By comparing student achievement to other students, SGP can also help identify gaps in learning for both groups and allow programs to better articulate and measure their goals.

The sgptData_LONG data set contains LONG formatted assessment data from 8 windows (3 windows annually) of student assessment data for 3 content areas. This dataset is intended for use with operational analyses and all higher level functions in the SGP package (studentGrowthPercentiles, studentGrowthProjections) utilize this data set. The sgptData_LONG dataset contains 7 required variables for SGP analyses: VALID_CASE, CONTENT_AREA, YEAR, ID, SCALE_SCORE, GRADE and ACHIEVEMENT_LEVEL. Additionally, the sgptData_LONG contains an optional last name and first name variable to produce individual student growth plots.

Data sgp is a web-based application for creating student growth percentile reports using data from a state’s assessment system. The application can be used to generate customized reports for an entire district, school, or group of schools. It allows educators to analyze student progress by content area, grade, and subgroup to determine the effectiveness of their current instructional strategies.

The SGP data sets are provided to assist with the development of new standardized testing assessments. This process will involve gathering the necessary data from various sources, including state departments of education and local districts. It will also include the development of test items and the development of a test administration manual.

The data are available for public use as part of a free, non-commercial license and may be freely reproduced or distributed, without alteration. However, the data must not be used in a way that is defamatory or otherwise illegal. In addition, the data sets cannot be sold or transferred to another party for commercial purposes. The data sets are subject to the terms of the Data Quality Act. Any user who is interested in reusing the data for commercial or non-profit purposes must contact the SGP Technical Assistance Center. The TAC will work with the appropriate agency to obtain the necessary licensing. The TAC will then notify the requesting party of the terms of the license agreement. The requesting party must sign the agreement before using the data. The signing party must also provide proof of identity to the TAC. If the TAC cannot verify the identity of the signing party, it will not provide the data.
