If you’re looking for a pool that has the best views, look no further than Tai Wan Shan swimming pool. This pool offers an incredible 150-degree sea view, making it the perfect place to admire the beautiful Hong Kong skyline while taking a swim. The pool also has incredible facilities, including three teaching and leisure pools, as well as a main pool.
The pool is open from 6:30am to 10pm, with breaks from 12-1pm and 6:00-7:00pm. However, the pool is closed for cleaning on Wednesdays.
In addition to the stunning view, the Victoria Park Swimming Pool is home to a number of facilities, including an outdoor kid lagoon, which is perfect for the little ones to splash around. There are also a variety of interactive water-based activities, including an aqua tunnel and water shooters. On weekdays, the rates are HK$17, and on weekends they’re HK$19, unless you’re eligible for a concessionary or free rate (students, persons above 60 and below 13 years old). You can also purchase a monthly pool ticket for a discounted price.
Alternatively, you can head to the rooftop pool at the W Hotel and experience swimming amongst the clouds. The pool is located 211 metres above ground, which makes it one of the highest outdoor pools in the city. The pool is open to non-hotel guests on weekdays for four hours, and there’s even an everyday deluxe pass that includes access to the pool and Fit Gym.
